For the Parents

The best predictor of student success is the extent to which families encourage learning at home and involve themselves in their child’s education

When parents get involved in their children’s school lives, Learners have the home support and knowledge they need to not only finish their assignments, but also develop a lifelong love of learning.

We are a school that focuses on parent engagement, because it helps us see a profound change in the classrooms. The more parents get involved in their children’s education, the better their entire class’s motivation, behavior, and grades bring fulfillments to the teachers and the school.

Encouraging parent engagement is more than common courtesy. It’s one of the best ways to create a positive learning environment for every student. As a parent of Jane Montessori School we encourage you to be part of your Child's learning.

Safety First

We have come to belive that keeping the school safe allows children to look forward to being in an encouraging environment that promotes social and creative learning. When their basic safety needs of the learners aren't met, learners are at risk for not feeling comfortable at school and may stop showing up, or they may remain on edge throughout the day.

Arriving at School

The likelihood of success in learning is strongly linked to strong participation in school programs which is linked to arriving on time.

It is very important for children to develop habits of arriving on time at an early age, beginning from the time they start school. We encourage parents to ensure that their children doesn’t miss out on the important learning activities that happen early in the day when they are most alert.

We recommend early morning learning activity. This is often reading or writing which your child can lose if not on time to school. This helps your child to learn about routines and commitment. Gives your child time to greet their friends before class and this can reduce the possibility of disruptions in the classroom. Class disruption can make your child feel uncomfortable and can upset other children. Arriving on time every day makes children feel good about themselves. you can choose to drive them to school or use the school bus. the bus is on a lot of route around the central city of Accra.
